So pumped to see my photo story about the closing and demolition of Tommy’s Pub & Club being featured in the October issue of Charlotte Magazine. I had been documenting the Plaza Midwood dive bar for a year, and it’s great to see the final product featured in print. Brandon teamed up with me and wrote some great copy to coincide with the photos for the magazine. We need to work together more often! Currently creating a photo book showcasing a more rounded selection of photos from the bar’s last year. Stay tuned to learn how you can get one!

Queens University Advertising Campaign
The wonderful marketing team at Queens University of Charlotte reached out to see if I could help them with a new series of promotional photography to use toward their new advertising campaign. After much email correspondence and a few emails, we were able to put together a shot list of the people they wanted to highlight. I’ve always been Continue reading

Queens University Marketing Photography
I’m so excited to share some photos that are now featured on Queens University’s new interactive tour website. Back in July, Queens Creative Director Drea Leonetti reached out to me to see if I could help them with marketing photography for a new electronic view book they planned to launch. They really wanted to create photos that illustrated the community feel of attending Queens and how connected the students are on campus. Continue reading
Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man & Woman of the Year
I was recently asked by friend Whitney Combs to cover the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s 2014 Man & Woman of the Year. Combs was a candidate for the award, and I was happy to help her campaign. This touching charity event honored the 2014 Boy and Girl of the Year, as well as the men and women of Charlotte’s community who raised the most funds for blood cancer research during their 10-week-long campaign. NoDa Grand Prix
After receiving and setting up my Freefly MoVI M5 gimbal, I was itching to try it out on a fun, action-oriented event. Coincidentally, the 3rd Annual NoDa Grand Prix was gearing up that weekend, and I knew this would be the perfect first challenge to test the rig out. It took about an hour to really get a feel for the system, but overall, it was a breeze to handle. The final result definitely proved that the money spent on this stabilization system was well worth it. It added a whole new feel to my shots and proved to be such a useful, lightweight tool.

BB&T Ballpark Sneak Peak
As a proud partner of CRVA/Visit Charlotte, I was invited to a sneak peak of the newly built Charlotte Knights BB&T Ballpark in downtown Charlotte. The skyline view from the seats is gorgeous, and I can’t wait to chow down on some hot dogs for the opening game on April 11.
